Death

“When we exist, death is not; and when death exists, we are not.” Epicurus
Every man believes death is something that happens to others, until it happens to him.

The Battle of Good and Evil gods

Monotheism says there is one supreme, omnipotent and perfectly good God. The problem is: if God is all-powerful and good, why does evil and suffering exist?

Dualism solves that problem by having two independent forces, one good and one evil. Evil exists because an evil power is genuinely fighting the good power.

But dualism then has the opposite problem: if there are two competing powers, neither can be truly omnipotent, and it becomes harder to explain why the universe has an underlying order.

But there is a explanation;

What if we have single omnipotent God who created the entire universe – and He’s evil. But nobody in history of human kind has had the stomach for such a belief of worshipping an omnipotent God who is evil.

Lies

It is human nature to lie. The worst kind of lies humans can tell are those told in the field of science.

When the truth offends us, we lie. We lie and lie until we no longer remember that it is even there. But it is still there.

Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth. The laws of nature cannot be bent by human lies. Sooner or later, reality collects the debt.
